After an eight day jury trial in September 2017, in Gallatin, TN, GCE attorneys Dixie W. Cooper and Kim Kinsler obtained a unanimous verdict in favor of their client, a Gallatin based Ob/Gyn. The Plaintiff, an eight year old girl at the time of the trial, who was suing through her parents, alleged that GCE’s client failed to timely delivery the baby, and sought damages for her brain injury and resulting disabilities that included severe motor dysfunction. The jury unanimously found for GCE’s client, finding that the obstetrician met the applicable standard of care in his management of the mother’s labor and the delivery of her baby.
