After a 3 day jury trial in Cleveland, Tennessee, C.J. Gideon and Chris Vrettos obtained a unanimous verdict in favor of their hospital client.  The Plaintiffs alleged that an employed nurse failed to provide adequate assistance while transferring the patient to a wheelchair, leading to a fall and bilateral wrist fractures.  After deliberating for less than an hour, the jury found the hospital’s nurse complied with the applicable standard of care.
