Peer Review

Peer review proceedings initiated by hospitals to act against the privileges of physicians are complicated procedures that require specialized counsel. GETC regularly handles peer review matters from “both sides of the room” on behalf of hospitals and on behalf of health care providers. GETC regularly counsels large health care companies on peer review matters, both before taking action and in an effort to comply with bylaws and state and federal law. GETC also regularly counsels physicians in peer review matters.
