Before joining Gideon, Essary, Tardio & Carter, Cory practiced for more than seven years at a single firm in Nashville mainly representing insurance carriers in both first-party and third-party coverage disputes at both the state court and federal court levels. He also handled traditional insurance defense litigation matters involving general liability. He has experience trying jury trials to verdict. His practice now focuses on defending hospitals, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers in healthcare liability actions across the State of Tennessee. Prior to attending law school, Cory worked in the logistics industry for a worldwide shipping company for approximately ten years.
Cory resides in Madison, TN, with his wife, Juliana; their daughters, Charlotte (Charli) and Eleanor; and their English Bulldog, Bruno. In his spare time, he enjoys attending live sporting events and cheering for the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Tennessee Titans, the Nashville Predators, and the Atlanta Braves.
